How long does it take from the initial contact to the posting of the ad?

You can book a meeting directly at the date and time that works for you. During this first exchange, we will analyze your project, the status of your hosting, and the remaining steps.

Following this meeting, we will establish a clear timeline for the start together. If your accommodation is already ready to be rented and only the creation of your listings is missing, we can finalize everything in just a few days. Conversely, if certain steps still need to be completed (photos, compliance, welcome guide, etc.), we will move forward with you at a suitable and efficient pace.

Does Lodixa take care of creating the listing for me on all platforms, or just some (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.)?

At startup, we recommend the most effective and relevant platforms based on your region, your type of accommodation, and your target clientele.

Once the list is validated together, Lodixa can:

Create your ads entirely from scratch, or
To assist you in their creation, if you prefer to keep control over certain elements.

Our goal is always to optimize your visibility and performance from the launch.

Is it mandatory to use the Lodixa partner network, or can I choose others?

No. Lodixa provides you with the contact information of its recommended partners and suppliers, but you remain completely free to choose the companies you wish.

Our recommendations are solely intended to help you save time and ensure you receive reliable service, but the final decision is always yours.

Do I need a permit or municipal or provincial registration before starting my rental?

It depends on where your accommodation is located.
Some provinces, such as Quebec, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia, have specific provincial rules for tourist accommodation. However, in all provinces, even those without provincial regulations, there may be municipal requirements (permits, registration, zoning, taxes, etc.).
To avoid any non-compliance, it is strongly recommended to contact your municipality to check if a permit or authorization is required before starting the rental.

How does Lodixa assess the potential profitability of my property? (audit + recommendations)

Lodixa uses its expertise combined with market analysis tools based on the type of accommodation, location, and services offered to estimate revenue potential and occupancy rates.

Does the Kit include advice on pricing based on the season, holidays, or local/regional events?

Yes. The Kit includes 3 months of dynamic pricing management.

If you choose to entrust the management of your rates to Lodixa, we will optimize your prices based on seasonality, local demand, and your parameters, in order to achieve the best balance between rate and occupancy rate.

What level of involvement is expected of me (owner) during the launch and initial management?

Your involvement remains essential.
We write the texts for the listings, contracts, guides, and other documents, but you will need to review them, validate them, and provide certain information so that the result perfectly reflects your accommodation.

Is Lodixa available for support after the launch (for example, for questions, updates, adjustments)?

Yes. We offer comprehensive and unlimited support for 30 days following the project delivery. After this period, we remain available for small questions or occasional advice, and for more significant needs, we offer a bank of consultation hours.

Can I modify or customize the welcome guide or the provided explanatory sheets?

Yes. In the Starter Kit, we will make the customizations for you, and you will receive a printed version as well as the digital versions in Canva format. You will then be able to modify them yourself as needed, with no fees or Canva Pro license required.

Is my housing eligible if it is a primary residence, a condo, or a co-op?

Yes. Lodixa supports all types of accommodations offered for short-term rental.

If your property includes multiple separately rented units, additional fees apply for each additional unit.

Don't forget to check that your type of accommodation complies with local regulations before starting the rental.

What happens if I want to rent for only a few weeks a year, or just during the season?

It is entirely possible, and we can assist you with this type of operation.
However, short-term rentals involve fixed startup costs and certain annual expenses. By limiting the rental period, profitability may be reduced except in areas where demand is highly seasonal.
We can analyze your market and help you determine if a seasonal rental is still advantageous in your case.

Does the Kit also work if I want to do long-term rentals, or is it only for short-term rentals?

Yes. The Kit can also be applied to short-term or medium-term rentals.
However, annual rental with a residential lease when the tenant establishes their primary residence is not part of our expertise.
